It is the most durable water filter in town. The outer housing (casing) is made of polypropylene PP-fibre. Polypropylene fibres are used as a additive to increase strength and reduce cracking and . As a general rule, the smaller micron rating for a filter the better it is. A 5 micron water filter can trap 99.9 percent of all particles 5 microns or larger. Our water filter filtration ability has progressed from 10 micron to 5 micron rating over the years. Our home water filter specifications are set at 5 microns rather than 1 micron because the 1 micron filter would easily clog up and has to be replaced frequently.
